Since 1899, Keljik's Oriental Rugs has remained a family owned business dedicated to full service in the Oriental rug industry. Bedros Keljik opened the establishment over 100 years ago in St. Paul, servicing the mansions along Summit Avenue. The business then moved to 7th Street and Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis, and later to 12th Street and Nicollet. Bedros’ son, Emerson, continued the business after World War II, until his retirement in 1989. Grandson Mark and his wife Farah continue to operate a full service cleaning and sales business with the help of their staff of experienced associates.
